Gigaset is expanding its smartphone portfolio with the GX30 and GX50, two rugged 5G devices that combine IP68/IP69K protection and MIL-STD-810H certification with a more compact and lighter design than is common in this segment.
With a thickness of approximately 10 mm and a weight under 250 grams, both models target users and organizations that need durable devices for use both inside and outside the office. Development and production take place in Germany.
Ralf Lueb, Senior Vice President Global Sales & Marketing at Gigaset, explains: “Rugged smartphones are often associated with large and heavy devices. With the GX30 and GX50, we’re showing that a robust device can also be sleek and functional – that’s the starting point of this new GX generation.”
